Garage instructions
Plan your arrival and check how to enter and leave Parking Caracas. If you need access outside staffed hours, arrange it with staff before your visit.
Staffed opening hours
Monday to Saturday, all year: 07:00–23:00.
Sundays and public holidays from June to September: 09:30–14:30 and 18:00–23:00.
Sundays and public holidays from October to May: closed all day.
Access outside staffed hours must be arranged with staff in advance.
Before accessing outside staffed hours
- Arrange entry or collection of your vehicle outside staffed hours with staff in advance.
- Collect the proximity chip and confirm the instructions before staff leave.
- Use the chip on the readers at the garage entrance doors.
Do not assume you can enter or collect your vehicle outside staffed hours without prior arrangements.
Using the chip and readers
Silver reader: hold the chip against the reading glass in the central area, slightly above the button. Do not hold it against the camera at the top.
Black reader: enter your personal code and press OK, or hold a compatible chip against the centre of the reader. It only accepts specially assigned chips, usually provided by hotels.
If your chip does not work on the black reader, use the silver reader. The door closes automatically.

Leaving and returning the chip
- Before using the exit ramps, open the gates with the chip. Also use the reader on the first column at the start of the ramps.
- Check that the gates are open before using the exit ramps.
- When leaving, return the chip in the box beside the reader.
Using the ramps without first opening the gates with the chip will trigger the remote monitoring system alarms.
Hotel Gelmírez guests
Sundays and public holidays: if you enter using the access key provided by Hotel Gelmírez, park immediately on your left as you enter, in spaces 2 to 21.
Follow the instructions for the appropriate reader and ask staff if you are unsure about your assigned key or chip.
Services and access conditions
Maximum height: 2 metres. Vehicles exceeding this height cannot enter.
Accessible parking spaces are available. Motorcycles have a monitored area and pedestrian access with a key.
You may voluntarily leave your keys so staff can park your vehicle or prepare it for collection. Assistance is free; normal parking charges apply.
There are currently no electric vehicle charging points. Cash and bank cards are accepted.
Security and incidents
There are more than 40 surveillance cameras. Staff supervise the premises during opening hours; an external company monitors the cameras remotely when staff are absent.
Access is controlled, with dedicated monitored areas for motorcycles and monthly pass holders.
If you lose your ticket, tell staff: the system can identify your vehicle, check the entry time and calculate the charge.
